Welcome to Don’s Photoworks

This site is your gateway into the ecletic world of my photography and videography. For the most part, I create images and videos in Hawai’i and Japan.

In Hawai’i, I tend to create images of animals, most of whom are underwater. I also take advantage of Hawai’i’s beauty to capture stunning landscapes and clear skys to practice astrophotograhy.

In Japan, I continue to pursue my love of animal photography while at the same time seeking opportunities to photograph examples of Japan’s rich cultural history through both modern manifestations found in both performances and everyday life as was as Edo Period (1603-1668) reenactments.

Due to the eclectic nature of my photographic practice and my desire to focus my delivery of different types of images to different audiences, I have created a few different Instargam accounts. If the content interests you, please check them out.
